Nydsley Hall

An impressive residence consisting of five generously apportioned and beautifully furnished apartments in the heart of Pateley Bridge. Nydsley Hall is a stunning, period building, showcasing original features throughout. Each of the five suites has a unique charm, with stunning views over Pateley Bridge and the surrounding countryside. Three of the apartments have a private garden or a terrace with a hot tub, and the first-floor apartment has a large roof terrace with panoramic views.

Pateley Bridge is a beautiful old Yorkshire town in the heart of Nidderdale, which has been designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Pateley Bridge is the start and finish point of the Nidderdale Way, a 53 mile loop around the stunning scenery of the Nidd Valley. Based in an original Victorian workhouse, the Nidderdale museum gives visitors a real taste of rural life, past and present, housing a cobbler’s workshop, a classroom, and artefacts that depict the Yorkshire way of life. The town is surrounded by fascinating and unique landscapes, such as Brimham Rocks, Stump Cross Caverns, and How Stean Gorge.

The Lodge Suite

With a private entrance and secluded garden, the 2-bedroom Lodge Suite is the perfect hideaway. The large lounge diner, with its huge, comfortable sofas and mid-century elegance leads out to the private garden with a decked area, lawn, and hot tub.

The Lodge Suite features two bedrooms (one king, one double), a bathroom with a roll top bath, a kitchen, a lounge/dining room, and a private garden with a hot tub.

The Grande Suite

With its huge, open-plan kitchen and living space, the Grande Suite has it all. The high-spec Kesseler Kitchen is the perfect social hub, featuring a central island and dining area, leading directly onto a stylish lounge with deep, comfortable sofas and a Smart TV with Netflix. The suite has access to two gardens – a gorgeous front garden and a more secluded space with a hot tub at the side of the property.

The Grande Suite features two bedrooms (One super-king ensuite with roll-top bath, one double), an extra-large bathroom, a generous open plan kitchen / dining room, a lounge, a large lawned garden, plus a private garden area with a hot tub.

The Terrace Suite

With its high ceilings and air of elegance, the Terrace Suite is sure to impress. The double aspect lounge diner overlooking the gardens and Pateley Bridge is a charming space. With designer Italian sofas, mid-century furniture, and original abstract artwork, it’s a stylish and relaxing place to be.

Features two bedrooms (One king-size ensuite with dressing room, one double), a bathroom with a roll-top bath, a lounge / dining area, a kitchen, and a huge terrace with views over the river and countryside.

The Penthouse

With a sweeping staircase and vaulted ceilings, the penthouse is a generous, impressive space. The modern lounge / kitchen / diner area comes with designer furniture, and the high-end Kesseler Kitchen is fully equipped. There’s a fabulous dining area for four, and a stylish sofa where you can relax for an evening of board games or films.

Features two bedrooms (one king-size with dressing room, one double), a bathroom with a roll-top bath, and a kitchen / lounge / dining area.

The Nook is a spacious basement apartment with a private entrance at ground level, and a private patio with a hot tub.

Features three bedrooms (one king, two double), a bathroom with a roll-top bath, a lounge, a kitchen / diner, and a patio with a hot tub.

Luxury amenities throughout

Soft white linen, towels, bathrobes, slippers, and a hairdryer are all provided for your comfort in every bedroom, along with gorgeously scented, vegan and paraben-free toiletries which have been created locally by H2K of Harrogate.

Guest Access

Guest access is via key safe at the entrance. You will be sent your unique entry codes by email (or message system on third party sites).


Our beds are extremely comfortable, guaranteeing an excellent night’s sleep. Please note that it is not possible to make the doubles or kings into separate smaller beds.


Each apartment has a Nest controller in the lounge, allowing individual control of gas central heating.

Hot Tubs

Three of our apartments have hot tubs. Out of respect for our neighbours, we ask that you only use them from 9.00am until 9.00pm.


Pateley Bridge is a quiet, rural village and sound travels at night. For this reason, we do not recommend anyone makes a booking if they feel it would be difficult to keep their music and other noise at a respectful level, considering those in the other apartments along with our neighbours.


The Garden, Grande and Terrace Suite have two parking spaces each. The Lodge and Penthouse suites each have 1 parking space.


We welcome one small to medium-sized, house-trained dog, if advised at the time of booking. A small surcharge of £30 per pet applies (per stay, not per night).


Smoking is strictly forbidden inside the property. A substantial, deep cleaning charge applies and damage to furnishings must also be paid for (see Rental Agreement for details).

Please let us know in advance if you need a high chair and/or travel cot.


We have excellent Wi-Fi throughout the property. The code for the Wi-Fi will be emailed to you, and is also in the Welcome Pack located in the lounge upon arrival.
